Introduction

Founded in 2001, Refresh Creative Media is a small company focused on web development, e-Commerce and video production.

While based in Cape Town, Refresh works with both national and international clients, across varying diverse industries, on a regular basis. They aim to cater to all their clients’ media and marketing needs.

Consisting of a small, diversely qualified staff, they are set apart from their competitors because of their ability to easily complete a wide range of digital marketing aspects in-house, without needing to outsource. They are experienced in web design, development and promotion, video production and camerawork and graphic design and print.

The Challenge

With their involvement in online marketing, Refresh found that open-source email systems did not offer the tools they needed to manage the email sends and feedback of their email marketing campaigns. They needed more in-depth reports in order to monitor the effectiveness of their email newsletters: The ability to track their open and bounce rates, as well as being able to update their contact and block lists automatically, would allow them to provide a more efficient email marketing service.
